Sometimes your computer may give an error that Windows 10 0 is fragmented. There can be several reasons for this error to appear.

it depends on the (de)fragmentation you are looking for
Windows 7 or never will of course look for hidden (fragmented) files all over your drive, but will collect them (single file, correct location on the drive) and doesn’t seem appropriate when the files are usually in the same folders stored directly on the drive close to each other, now this type of defragmentation is short (files are stored randomly on the disk, they are simply not fragmented (divided into three parts))
Old Windows (Windows 95 to XP (not sure about Windows Vista)) doesn’t really care what fragmentation you currently have and may well move all files/folders individually if you move files on disk startup , so you can all together, which doesn’t really make sense since most of the time you won’t be running all those files in order anyway

this is Windows defragmentation
As for your firstAfter defragmentation, Windows has been wasting time so far.

Thank you for your reply. I’m using the latest version of PC 10

it depends on the (de-)fragmentation you choose
Windows 7 or never will completely search for files that have accumulated (fragmented) on your disk and merge them (one file, one disk space) and will not search for files that may be in the same folder and on which disk are stored close to each other, the next type of defragmentation is ultra-fast (files are randomly stored on disk, but are not fragmented (divided into three parts))
Old Windows (since Windows 95 in regards to XP (not sure about landscape)) doesn’t really care what fragmentation you currently have and will most certainly move all files/folders one by one when you start your drive and keep moving files so they can all go together, which doesn’t really make sense since most of the time you won’t be running all those files in order anyway

this is Windows defragmentation
As far as your defrags go, Windows was wasting time.

The last defrag just ran on the last day (it’s still the specific 18 I’m running). Performs very little defragmentation to improve performance. Windows also defrags automatically, so you don’t have to worry.

Even if you don’t pay Windows for the extended Top 7 support, you should probably upgrade to Windows 8 or Windows 10 because you won’t get security updates anymore and you’ll be exposed to a lot of attacks.

Optimize Your New PC With Disk Defrag Tool

0 fragmented windows 10

This information contains instructions for defragmenting a Windows 10 hard drive, including checking the type of hard drive, and defragmenting the drive if it is a hard drive.

How To Defragment A Windows 10 Hard Drive

Is 1% fragmented okay?

Fragmentation of 1% is just not functionally different from 0%. In fact, the actual new fragmentation may be less than 1%. defragmentation is overrated anyway. You won’t see a popular performance unless the fragmentation gets very high and the CD/DVD doesn’t have a lot of room.

If you know the client has its own type of hard drive, you can give a good reason to defrag. First you need to look at the information about the degree of its fragmentation. “Optimize”

  1. Search in the search field next to the Wind launcher iconows and select “Defragment and Optimize Disks” to undoubtedly open the “Optimize Disks” window. Select the type of drive you want to defragment and take a look at the analysis.

  2. The scan may take several minutes. You currently see progress under the current status field of the accelerated scan you are running.

  3. Once the scan is complete, check the Current Status field again based on the results. You will see that the percentage of disk fragmentation reaches the word OK.

Typically, less than 5% of the hard drive is required for optimal performance. If the fragmentation is 10%, I would say that you should run an optimization utility to reorganize most of the disk.

  4. If you decide to defrag your Windows 10 drive, select the drive again in the Optimize Drives window. Then click the “Optimize” button.

  5. The disk optimization utility rescans the disk and then initiates a defragmentation. Again, you can see the defragmentation status by checking the Current Location box. .

You’ll see several terms for the period of the defragmentation process, including “analyzed”, “moved”, and then “defragmented”. This will cover a series of “passes”.

  6. Once this process is complete, you will see “OK (0% fragmented)” in the current status box. This means that the hard drive is completely defragmented.

Auto Path Optimization

Instead of trying to remember what can run this whole process on the usual schedule, you can set Windows 10 to automatically do what you need.

  1. In the same Optimize Readers window, activate the Marketing Schedule section.

If it is already activated, it tells it that it will change the settings.

  2. This will open the entire optimization window calendar. Select a feature, schedule and set how often you want to optimize your product. If you drive more than you drive, click the “Select” button to uniquely select the trip for which you want to set my optimization schedule.

  3. 0 fragmented windows 10

Select the disk to optimize on schedule, check “Automatically optimize new disks” and click OK.

  4. Click OK to return to the main Optimize Drives window. Once there, you can click “Close” to close the entire program where you left off.

Now your new Windows 10 PC will automatically defragment your hard drive on a regular basis, so no one has to worry about focusing on doing this task on their own.

How To Find Out If You Have An SSD Or HDD

Many Windows 10 PCs still ship with a hard disk drive (HDD), a completely new type of mechanical storage on magnetic disks that also retrieves digital data. If your precious Windows computer has a hard drive, you need to defragment the device from time to time. If it’s really a solid state drive (SSD), you don’t need to defrag everything.

  1. Select most of the Windows start icon, type “Run” and select the “Run application” option, thoby launch window.

  2. Type dfrgui in the main “Open” field and press Enter.

  3. Most likely, the “Optimize disks” window will open. You will see all hard drives installed on your system. If the drive you want to defragment has a hard drive in the Media Type discipline, it is the HDD. If that type of SSD is in the right place, it’s an SSD.

    Is zero percent fragmented good?

So basically sweat it out if you have almost every Windows PC and probably use up the entire hard drive. But regarding your question, “0% fragmentation” means your hard drive is working fine. I mean it stays intact. If you press on it with a hammer, then fragmentation will certainly increase.

    Is defragging Windows 10 good?

Defrag is great. When the disk is actually defragmented, the split files are spread across the disk and then reassembled and saved as a single file. They can then be accessed faster and more easily because the reader does not have to search for them directly.

    Is 3% fragmented good?

Fragmentation can affect performance if large files or a group of file types that are being accessed are widely distributed across logical drive space. Except in extreme cases, overload should not be noticeable. Thinking about 3% or even 10% disk fragmentation is certainly not very helpful.
